More than a million women a year are victims of domestic abuse in the United States. Almost all who seek refuge at domestic violence shelters arrive with just the clothes on their backs. Helen’s Pajama Party is a non-profit organization that collects new pajamas to give to shelters. The goal is to have a pair of new pajamas waiting for every woman who enters a shelter. You can help us by donating new pajamas with the tags left on.
An article appeared in the June issue of the Rotarian Magazine about Helen's Pajama Party, and I've been getting calls and emails from all over the country from people wanting to host drives. I want to do all I can to help make these drives successful as well as making sure that each drive lives up to the high standards that we maintain. Please contact me directly if you want to hold a drive for logo use and other resources.
